Ten Minutes On… is a short-format podcast that I started in April 2024. Over the course of 10 minutes or so (sometimes slightly shorter, sometimes a bit longer), I examine emerging or developing issues and events.
I am not a journalist, so I will not be breaking new stories. Instead, I will be bringing the knowledge and experience I have acquired over the years as a political science and International Relations scholar, researcher, educator and occasional media analyst and commentator to provide insight and reflections on issues as they are happening.
The episodes will provide context to these stories, explaining what has happened and why it is important. They will identify the key actors and what they are likely to do, as well as the potential challenges and risks they may face going forward.
Ultimately, Ten Minutes On… is designed to leave the listener more informed and to have a broader udnerstanding of the wider context, patterns, similarities and differences that mark these political and international developments that are taking place.
I welcome all feedback and encourage you to listen to the episodes. If you like what you hear, consider sharing them with your own contacts and subscribing for future ones where you usually get your podcasts. I also welcome suggestions for future topics to explore.
