Short episodes. Sharp analysis. No breathless headlines.

Started in April 2024, Ten Minutes On… is a short-format podcast offering bite-sized briefings on big developments in global politics. Each episode runs for around ten minutes (give or take — I’m not timing it with a stopwatch), and explores an emerging or evolving issue that deserves more than a headline but less than a dissertation.

I’m not a journalist, so I won’t be breaking stories. Instead, I bring the perspective of someone who’s spent years researching, teaching, and occasionally commenting on international affairs — with a particular focus on political power, global trends, and the Middle East.

Episodes offer context: what happened, why it matters, who’s involved, and what might happen next — along with the risks, contradictions, and complications that rarely make it into rolling news coverage.

If you're interested in what lies beneath the soundbites — and prefer your analysis without shouting — this podcast is for you.

New episodes appear weekly (or when events demand it). Feedback and topic suggestions are welcome. If you like what you hear, do subscribe, share, and help it reach the sort of audience who'd rather think than react.
